Bespoke Algorithmic Scheduling

To enable your scheduling application to successfully model and control your production facility it commonly becomes necessary to develop bespoke algorithmic scheduling rules which take account of the events during production which will affect the work schedule. These algorithms are developed in the Visual Basic suite where they are linked into the scheduling application. The Preactor scheduling application comes with 12 'off the shelf' rules which you are able to use effectively, these are simplistic approaches like "Schedule by Due Date" or "Schedule and Batch Size". When the schedule must be a function of key elements on your site it is necessary for us to develop an algorithm which takes these into account.
